Sustainable Development and innovative practices
24 - 25 novembre 2017 Hammamet - Tunisie
The economic, social and environmental challenges have become considerable and the concept of sustainable development is constantly growing with the various problems related to poor implementation of best governance practices and the irreversible damages caused to the environment. In fact, we can’t consider, on one hand, the environment with a huge risk of deterioration and, on the other hand, humans, governments, societies and economies. In opposition, social, political, technological and natural dynamics evolve in interaction and it becomes necessary for the social sciences to confront together objects of an interdisciplinary nature.
Researchers, economic decision-makers, policy-makers and pedagogues must therefore address Sustainable Development from different perspectives as the integration of this issue is part of a resolutely interdisciplinary approach, questioning disciplinary boundaries. Sustainable Development should be analyzed by the teacher as well as the learner, by the producer as well as the consumer, by the politician and the citizen. We need to understand how to invest, produce, consume, teach ... in a sustainable way? What innovative practices would ensure sustainable development?
This conference is therefore meant to be a forum for exchanges between researchers and practitioners, pedagogues, academics, managers and officials of state, public and private organizations on questions related to sustainable development. Submission of multidisciplinary research is encouraged. Several types of contributions can be presented: literature review, empirical work, case studies, description of an intervention approach, corporate practices, testimonials and experience feedback for practitioners, proposals for action by high school students and students, posters, documentaries, etc.

Have companies really integrated the Sustainable Development dimension or CSR into their practices? Have they gone from speech to action? What are the strategic issues for a responsible HR policy? To what extent does HRM contribute to the appropriation of CSR by employees? How to manage organizations differently and sustainably?Theme 2 : SD and IT
Digital transformation and new managerial practices. Digitization and new jobs for tomorrow. Impact of the virtualization of human relationships on health and well-being at work. Sustainable development and green IT: which practices for responsible management of information technologies?Theme 3 : DD and finance
What are the new organizational challenges? New funding mechanisms? Did policy-makers prepare the framework for this? The impact investing or how to invest with the intention to generate a social or environmental impact?Theme 4 : SD and marketing
How to introduce Sustainable Development in the marketing strategy of the company at all levels of marketing-mix? What behavior for the consumer: from adoption to boycott? What innovation in product policy: eco-design and eco-product? What are the challenges of sustainable communication and the risks of greenwashing? Deadline for full text submission: 01 juillet 2017. Notification of decision of the Scientific Committee: 01 septembre 2017. Submission of final paper: 20 octobre 2017. Mandatory registration and payment: 30 octobre 2017 Conference: 24 et 25 novembre 2017.Format of proposals:
The proposal to be submitted to the symposium must respect the following presentation standards:
The first page must contain the title of the communication, the full contact details of the author or authors and indicate the main contact for the correspondence. It should also contain an abstract consisting of approximately 300 words specifying the issue to be addressed, the methodology to be followed and the expected results followed by a maximum of five key words. Communication must respect the following presentation guidelines: 10 to 15 pages bibliography included, A4 format, 2.5 cm margins, Times New Roman (size 12), single spacing, spacing before and after 0 pt, justified.The general title of the text should be centered, size 14, bold, in large capital.Subtitles must be 12, bold and lowercase.All papers will be evaluated blindly by two members of the Scientific Committee.
